BENEFITS OF BOTOX ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS FROM PRECIOUS SKIN SAFFRON WALDEN

Anti-Wrinkle Injections are more commonly known as Botox, and Botox is a brand name and one of three products licensed in the UK. Anti-Wrinkle Injections are a type of protein that occurs naturally, and Clostridium Botulinum produces it. Botox Anti-Wrinkle Injections can help tackle the signs of ageing by reducing overactive facial muscles that pull on the skin, this helps your skin look smoother and tighter. The break the skin gets from the muscles continually moving allows it to smooth out, giving it a fresher look and making you look years younger. You must be over 18 to have Anti-Wrinkle Injections in the UK.

Are Anti-Wrinkle injections safe?

Absolutely yes, which is more than what many skin-care creams and serums can say. Anti-Wrinkle Injections are safe and used to mitigate specific health issues, such as hyperhidrosis and migraines. Anti- Wrinkle Injections should not be done on those who are pregnant or breastfeeding or anyone with an underlying health condition. After having your initial meeting with our aesthetician, you will be required to have a consultation with our prescribing nurse, who will assess if you are suitable for the treatment.

What are the risks?

The most common risks of getting Anti-Wrinkle Injections are bruising or swelling, but this doesn't happen often. The chance of infection in someone healthy is almost zero. There's a slight chance one side of your face is stronger than the other, which will be corrected in our two-week top-up appointment. Avoid alcohol 24 hours before; this can cause excess bleeding during treatment as alcohol thins the blood.

Does it hurt?

If needles make you nervous, know that our Anti-Wrinkle Injections are done with a tiny needle, roughly the same type used for insulin shots. Think of the needles used to get blood drawn—those are massive compared to the needles used for Anti-Wrinkle. These are minor, and they should be comfortable. There is also the option of having numbing cream applied.

How long does it take to work?

The first thing you'll notice immediately after Anti-Wrinkle Injections are little bumps and dots of blood that look just like mosquito bites. These go away in 20 minutes to half an hour. But you won't notice the skin-smoothing effects between three to five days (up to two weeks).

Are Anti Wrinkle Injections permanent?

Over time, Anti-Wrinkle Injections are metabolized by the body, and one treatment of Anti-Wrinkle Injections only lasts between three to four months on average; however, several factors can cause that to vary. It depends on the individual, how many units are injected, the person's metabolism, and how often you're vigorously exercising.

What happens after the Anti-Wrinkle Injections Treatment?

There's no downtime after Anti-Wrinkle Injections. You are advised to avoid excessive sweating or exercise for at least 24 hours post-treatment (the boost in circulation can spread the toxin to unwanted areas within the body). Still, you can continue your regular skin-care routine. It's also key to avoid touching your face where you had the injections so that the Anti-Wrinkle Injection sites can properly settle. Avoid too much sun exposure, as it can encourage bruising. Other than that, you're good to go.
